2-node setups. This setup will occur in stores that have a clear path from the gateway node to the repeater node. In this case, the repeater node will provide internet to the Watkins display and the gateway node will be hard wired to an open port.
How to install gateway node
- Install the Gateway Node by plugging in an Ethernet cable in the open Ethernet port and connect the other end to one of the two Ethernet ports on the mesh node, it doesn't matter which. Once the Ethernet cable has been terminated accordingly, now we can power the device. Plug in the power adapter and the mesh node will turn on.
How to install Repeater node
2. Install the Repeater Node by connecting it directly to the kiosk via a 1' Ethernet cable as well as to a power strip that is already installed inside the kiosk. Please note: Both the ethernet cable and the power for the repeater node will come prewired inside the kiosk fixture, the only thing that you'll need to do is to connect them to the node).
Then slide mesh node into metal bracket as shown in the photo to the right below.
